Jenay Barstad

I spent three months in Greece creating Mother Mary, a 12-piece exhibition born from deep personal transformation. Each painting developed its own presence almost portal-like yet together they form a unified self-portrait of my inner landscape. The work emerged through healing unconscious wounds and transforming my understanding of myself as both a woman and a mother, gently moving through generational patterns. At its heart, this journey was an act of devotion a healing undertaken not only for myself, but for my children and the legacy I am shaping for them.
