Jenay is an artist based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She discovered she was an artist at 25 while studying at the University of Wisconsin–Stout in Menomonie, shortly after the birth of her daughter. That moment marked the beginning of a path that continues to shape her life as both a woman and a mother.

Jenay is the mother of two children, a daughter and a son. She creates from the lived contrast of being a woman and a mother — holding challenge, sacrifice, and grief alongside love, acceptance, and freedom, while continuing to move through generational patterns with strength, courage, and resilience.

Jenay’s painting style is rooted in energy, color, and texture, creating a strong emotional atmosphere within each work. Location influences the work both within and without — inner presences of healing and the meeting of dark and light shaping movement, tone, and form. Shifts in mood create contrast throughout her paintings, allowing each piece to hold layered experience and invite viewers into their own.
